Tour de Wallonie, stages 1 & 2

Overlapping with the last two days of the Tour de France, the Tour de Wallonie got underway in Belgium with Tom Boonen (RSR) winning the first age and placing second on the second.

Peter Sagan (SNO) won the Green Jersey as the final leader of the points competition with Marcel Kittel (RSR) second and André Greipel fourth for Steve.

Tour de France, stage 20

On the last day in the mountains, and the penultimate day of the Tour, Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) was third on the stage with Julian Alaphilippe (RSR) fourth.

Adam Yates (SNO) was unable to get back onto  the podium and remains fourth overall with Richie Porte (RSR) still fifth. For Steve, Joaquim Rodríguez improved to seventh on GC and Dan Martin held onto ninth place overall for Lisa.

No change at the top of the points classification where Peter Sagan (SNO) has all but won the Green Jersey with Marcel Kittel (RSR) second.

Rui Costa (RSR) moved up a place to fifth in the mountains competition as Nibali jumped up twenty places to eighth.

Joaquim Rodríguez (SNO) finished second on today's mountain-top finish.

Adam Yates (SNO) dropped a place to fourth overall and Richie Porte (RSR) moved up a place to fifth as did Dan Martin, also for Lisa, who's now ninth. Rodríguez holds onto eleventh overall.

Peter Sagan (SNO) and Marcel Kittel (RSR) remain first and second in the points competition.

Rui Costa, for Lisa, moves up to sixth in the mountains classification.

Tour de France, stage 18

Richie Porte (RSR) finished fourth fastest in the mountain time trial today.

Adam Yates (SNO) hung on to third place overall and Richie Porte remains sixth for Lisa but Dan Martin (RSR) dropped a place to tenth as Joaquim Rodríguez gained one to eleventh for Steve.

No changes at the top of the points classification today so Peter Sagan (SNO) is still in Green with Marcel Kittel second for Lisa and André Greipel seventh for Steve.

Fabian Cancellara (RSR) did not take the start today.

After today's stage, Adam Yates (SNO) is still in third place overall, Richie Porte (RSR) moves up a place to sixth, Dan Martin, also for Lisa, is still ninth and Joaquim Rodríguez moves up a place to twelfth for Steve.

Peter Sagan (SNO) tightened his grip on the Green Jersey even further as Marcel Kittel (RSR) moves up to second on points. André Greipel remains seventh in that competition for Steve.

Peter Sagan (SNO) just snatched the win today in Berne, Switzerland.

Adam Yates is still third overall for Steve with Richie Porte (RSR) seventh, Dan Martin ninth, also for Lisa, and Joaquim Rodríguez (SNO) thirteenth.

Sagan has pretty much wrapped up the points competition with Mark Cavendish second, also for Steve. Marcel Kittel (RSR) is third on points but André Greipel (SNO) has slipped back to seventh.

Rui Costa (RSR) remains sixth in the mountains classification after today's stage.

Tour de France, stage 12

The chaotic conclusion to the race part-way up Mount Ventoux left total confusion in its wake. At the time of writing it appears that appeals to the race jury have left Adam Yates (SNO) in second place overall while Dan Martin (RSR) slips back to ninth place and Joaquin Rodríguez (SNO) moves up to tenth and Richie Porte (RSR) to eleventh. Not clear yet if this will stand as counter-appeals fly.

The situation in the points competition seems more settled with Peter Sagan (SNO) still in green, Mark Cavendish (SNO) second and Marcel Kittel (RSR) third on points as André Greipel (SNO) moves up to sixth.

Rui Costa (RSR) fell back to sixth in the mountains competition.

Peter Sagan (SNO) won again today as a group of four riders jumped clear in the final kilometres.

At the top of the General Classification, Adam Yates (SNO) remains second with Dan Martin (RSR) third but Joaquim Rodríguez (SNO) drops from fifth down to twelfth place. Richie Porte (RSR) holds onto 14th place overall.

Sagan held onto the green Jersey as the leader on points and there were no changes in the other top places in that classification either so Mark Cavendish (SNO) is still second, Marcel Kittel (RSR) third and André Greipel (SNO) seventh.

Rui Costa (RSR) remains fourth in the mountains classification.

Rui Costa (RSR) finished second on today's stage as a breakaway stayed clear to the end.

Adam Yates (SNO) still lies second overall going into tomorrow's first rest day. Dan Martin (RSR) is now up to third on GC as Joaquim Rodríguez (SNO) drops back to fifth and Richie Porte (RSR) improves slightly to fourteenth.

Mark Cavendish (SNO) keeps the green jersey but Marcel Kittel (RSR) drops one place to third on points, to be replaced in second by Peter Sagan (SNO). André Greipel (SNO) remains sixth in that classification.

Costa's performance today moves him up into fourth place in the mountains competition.

Alberto Contador (RSR) became the first of our riders to leave the race as he climbed off some way into today's stage.

Vincenzo Nibali (SNO) finished fourth on today's first Pyrenean stage.

Adam Yates (SNO) leapt up to second overall, pushing Julian Alaphilippe (RSR) down to  third and Joaquim Rodríguez (SNO) to fifth. Dan Martin (RSR) remains tenth.

Mark Cavendish (SNO) keeps the Green Jersey of leader in the points completion with Marcel Kittel (RSR) and Peter Sagan (SNO) still second and third respectively but André Greipel (SNO) drops a place to sixth on points.

At last a presence for one of our riders on the Mountains classification, where Nibali is now in seventh place.

Mark Cavendish (SNO) won his third stage of this year's tour today. Marcel Kittel (RSR) was beaten into second place.

Cavendish takes back the Green Jersey of leader on points with Kittel up to second as Peter Sagan (SNO) drops back to third and André Greipel, also for Steve, remains fifth.

Mark Cavendish (SNO) won the stage, continuing Steve's 100% run, with André Greipel second, also for Steve. Peter Sagan (SNO) was just pipped into fourth place.

No change at the top of the overall classification, so Sagan keeps the yellow jersey with Julian Alaphilippe (RSR) second and Dan Martin tenth, also for Lisa, while Adam Yates moves up to eighteenth for Steve.

Cavendish takes over the Green Jersey from Sagan who drops to second in the points competition. Greipel moves up to third on points, swapping places with Marcel Kittel (RSR) who drops to fourth and Alaphilippe drops back to seventh.

Peter Sagan (SNO) made it two stages out of two for Steve by winning the stage and taking the yellow jersey of overall leader. Julian Alaphilippe and Dan Martin were second and fourth on the stage for Lisa.

Alaphilippe jumps up to second overall and Dan Martin moves up to tenth.

Mark Cavendish (SNO) won the opening stage and takes the first Yellow Jersey of this year's tour. Marcel Kittel was second for Lisa with Peter Sagan third and André Greipel fourth, both for Steve.

These four occupy the first four places on the General Classification with Julian Alaphlippe fifteenth for Lisa.

The same four riders lead the points competition.
